Creation of the IHateTaxis.com Site Happened Here

During a layover and on the back of a few napkins stolen from the Dairy Queen inside the Phnom Penh Airport, the plan for the IHateTaxis.com site was constructed in December 2008 after one too many taxi rip-offs and many uncertainities after landing in foreign airports. The domain name had been secured, but the exact contents and layout of the site were not. In September 2009, the IHateTaxis.com website was officially launched, although we did not add the Phnom Penh Airport until January 2010 as we used the Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport for the test airport.
