Where is Riyadh Airport?  

Considered the most straight-laced of Saudia Arabia's biggest cities, Riyadh, the nation's capital, is a business-only destination. There are few sights, and most forms of entertainment are banned. Riyadh International Airport (IATA: RUH, ICAO: OERK), officially King Khalid International Airport or King Khalid Airport, commonly referred to as Riyadh Airport, is located 35 kilometres (22 miles) north of the city of Riyadh, in Riyadh province, Saudi Arabia. The airport is sometimes referred to as KKIA or KKIA Airport, however this is not an official airport code.

RUH Airport's accompanying property is massive, among the largest in the world. It's hardly surprising that it was an alternate landing site for NASA's Space Shuttle. There are multiple terminals, but the Royal Family has their own.

The airport's unique design features a large mosque which can accomodate 5,000 worshippers (and another 5.000 outside). The dome and minaret rise above the other terminal buildings. You'll see the mosque at Riyadh Airport as soon as you leave the Arrivals area, and you may hear the call to prayer, broadcast from the minaret 5 times daily.
